Appointments part 5: Accessing student details and journal from the calendar

In this video we show how to access student details such as education records, event and appointment attendance, case notes and other information directly from your appointment calendar.
Accessing student details directly from the appointment calendar is what I would consider to be an essential item. Unfortunately regular calendaring tools such as Outlook or Groupwise are not designed to work this way.
The CareerHub appointment system provides vast improvement and tools for managing your student relationships and case notes. These tools can all be accessed from your appointment calendar with a one or two clicks.

This video was recorded on our main development website which has test data going back 4 years. It's funny to see these things show up in videos and screenshots, because we developers never think about them being seen by anyone outside our office! It does give a bit of insight into what's going through our minds at any point in time though.
I created the Obama entry in September 2006 - even before he'd announced he would run for president - when there was a bit of excitement building about this guy that promised to lift America out of the hole dug by GW.
Along with names and nicknames of most CareerHub staff past and present, the dev site has entries for people from Liberace to MC Hammer (who incidentally just visited Sydney to talk about using Twitter). My favourite employer is the clandestine government organisation, the Department of Extramarital Affairs.
