Including CareerHub content in other websites
Administrators can create RSS feeds to output filtered CareerHub content. These RSS feeds can be used by other websites to display CareerHub content alongside their own content.
For example, you might want to create an RSS feed to show the 5 latest jobs targeted at Business students, which can then be displayed on the Business faculty home page.
To create an RSS feed
Click on Configuration > RSS > Generate RSS Feed.
If you don't see "Configuration" in the left-hand menu, you don't have the necessary permissions to add an administrator. You should contact someone in your Careers Service who does.

Below is a brief explanation about the options on the page:-
Entity Type - The type of entity (e.g. events, jobs, news) that you want to be converted into a feed.
Format - The RSS feed format to convert it to. If you're not sure, 2.0 is the most commonly used.
Days Previously Published / Added - Shows the entity's(e.g. events, jobs, news) items that have been added within the past "X" days where X is the number of days in the dropdown box.
Maximum Results - When the feed is used, the maximum number of items in the list to be fed. This is useful when there are for example, 5000 jobs from the feed, as it will be slow to load.
Order By - Orders the RSS feed by either the 'title', 'date published' or the 'expiry date'
Text search
The text to filter the RSS feed by. Works the same way as a regular search on careerhub.
Labels
Filter the RSS feed by pre-defined labels.
Categories
This works in the same way as the search does whereby the RSS is filtered by these categories
Displaying RSS content on other websites
Retrieving an RSS feed and transforming it to HTML to display alongside other content requires some basic knowledge of web development. The easiest way is to use a service like Feed Sweep to generate some Javascript code to display the content.
